Since developing an interest in the limited edition book at the Royal College of Art Douglas Wilson has spent his career designing and art directing four colour illustrated books for many of London's leading international publishing houses. During his career he has worked with, and commissioned leading Designers, Photographers and Illustrators, in a wide range of subject matter. Covering such areas as: Art and Design, Children's picture books, Cookery, Crafts, DIY, Gardening, Interior Design. Natural History, Needlecraft, Photography, Travel, Wine and Drink.
With a passionate interest in the world of publishing D3 editions was formed in 2004 to produce limited edition books that will appeal to a wide range of collectors. The first book with Sir Peter Blake, Alice: Through the Looking-Glass sold out in a matter of months and has now been produced as a trade book by Merrell Publishing. Following on from this success Tom Phillip's Merry Meeting was published at the end of 2005. Further projects art underway and will be announced as soon as publication dates are final.
